The Center for Snow and Avalanche Studies conducts the following research, monitoring, and education programs. A wide variety of students of snow – interdisciplinary and international teams of professional scientists, graduate or undergraduate researchers, university field camp groups, K-12 teachers and classes, and practicing snow professionals – are being supported through these programs and using our Senator Beck Basin Study Area at Red Mountain Pass, our Center facilities in Silverton, and our Mountain System Monitoring program datasets.
